Jody has worked in the ECO industry for more than 8 years and has amassed valuable contacts and a vast knowledge of the industry. After starting his ‘ECO’ career with a managing agent based in North Wales, he set up a consultancy business TSC Ltd, to carry on working with installers and manage their direct funding contracts with the utilities. As well as advising on compliance, delivery and overseeing the technical monitoring side for install teams.

After several months Jody and his wife, Carly, decided to open another arm to the business for lead generation. This way, the customer experiences a journey with the company from initial contact all the way through to install. While the installer not only gains a new customer, but has our support all the way through to submission.

Carly started Blue Turtle with the naming rights belonging to the kids, whilst Jody continued to run TSC Ltd in the January of 2019. Starting from absolute scratch we worked daily from the bedroom, conservatory or wherever else was a nice quiet spot for a few hours. Speaking to customers, marketing, social media presence and everything else that goes with finding customers was a baptism of fire for us both.

Covid lockdowns hit in the March 2020, however, whilst the country started to close, we saw an opportunity to grow a fantastic pipeline speaking to as many people as possible each day and nothing was going to stop us, we had only just begun! Over the first lockdown period alone we generated over 500 customers and placed those jobs with our fantastic network of installers.

Together we have grown a business of 30 staff at our office on Vaughan Street, Llandudno and have recently brought all departments within the two businesses under one collective company known as the Blue Turtle Group Ltd.

We still offer our fantastic lead generation and contract management services. But have also stepped into providing able-to-pay leads and renewable solutions for our customers. We have great partnerships in the industry and have an open and honest approach with both installers and customers. We pride ourselves on the best customer service for a seamless project from start to finish.

The turtles are a team of fantastic administrators, each with different strengths and qualities to bring to the table. Without them we wouldn’t be where we are today. We are so excited to see what the future holds for us as a business, and a family – Turtle Power!!!
