What is the ECO scheme (ECO4)?

ECO4 is one of the two main UK-government initiatives to improve the UK’s energy security, and reduce the energy bills of homes across Britain.

The scheme is funded by the country’s biggest energy suppliers. So if you qualify for an ECO grant, it won’t cost you a penny to improve the efficiency of your home.

You could be eligible for grants to pay for insulation and heating improvements to your home that could be worth thousands of pounds. Apply today!

Who pays for ECO4 grants?

ECO4 is funded from the profits of the UK’s biggest energy suppliers. The scheme, originally put in place by the UK government in 2013, set contribution obligations for each energy company according to how many customers they have. This money is then set aside to fund improvements in properties across the UK, over the course of the scheme.
